Sonata Agency (“Sonata”, “we”) is an AI consultancy operating this website at sonata.agency. If you have any question about this notice or how your information is handled, write to hello@sonata.agency.

We only collect information you actively give us:

• Answers you provide in the diagnostic, calculator, and pattern finder tools.
• Contact details you submit (e.g. your email address when you ask us to send a roadmap).
• Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request paths). These are kept for a short period and used to keep the site running and to investigate abuse.

We do not buy personal data, and we do not sell or rent yours.

We use the information you provide to produce the output you requested (a diagnostic roadmap, a calculator result), to follow up if you asked us to, and to improve our services. We do not make automated decisions that have legal effects on you.

This site uses a localStorage entry that remembers whether you accepted or declined this cookie notice, so we don’t ask again on every visit. That value never leaves your browser.

If you accept the banner, we also load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-JXZL2N2G18) to understand how visitors move through the site (page views, device class, referrer, approximate location). Google sets first-party cookies and may collect a truncated IP. We never load Google Analytics until you have accepted the banner; if you decline, the script is not requested and no events are sent.

You can reset your choice at any time by clearing site data in your browser, and the banner will reappear on your next visit. You can also block third-party analytics at the browser level (most browsers offer this in privacy settings).

We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate the site: Google Cloud for hosting, MongoDB Atlas for the database, and (only if you accept the cookie banner) Google Analytics for traffic analytics. Each of them processes data on our instructions and under their own published security commitments.

Depending on where you live (UK/EU GDPR, California, etc.) you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Email hello@sonata.agency and we will respond within 30 days.

We’ll update the “last updated” date at the top of this page whenever we make material changes. For anything significant we’ll also surface a note on the site.
